What is it? A track made out of bicycle pumps you ask? No sir, it’s a short loop track of dirt (so you can build your own) that has numerous hillocks and bumps throughout it. The idea being that you don’t need to pedal once you have the momentum, and can ‘pump’ the bike as you go down the slopes so that you make it up the next hill and so on and so forth. What are the benefits? You can build up your riding skills, fitness and agility. Pumping will teach to get free speed by transitioning the ground which means keeping your pedals level - useful for when you’re biking on rough terrain.
